Attorney Eileen Dunn co-founded the firm with Cornelius “Neil” Phillips in 1988. Now Founding
Partner Emeritus, she no longer practices law; the firm continues to carry her name in her honor.

In Memoriam

## Stephen J. Phillips

Attorney · Passed September 20, 2017

We remember Attorney Stephen J. Phillips, who passed away in September 2017 after a long fight with cancer. A
criminal defense and personal injury attorney at the firm, and brother of Cornelius “Neil”
Phillips III, Stephen gave freely of his time to hospice patients in the community. For some that meant
drafting a will or counseling on end-of-life matters; for others, it meant simply sitting with them to watch a
ball game.

A graduate of Westfield State University and Western New England School of Law, he was remembered by those who
knew him for always being there for people, no matter what. That care is part of the standard this firm still
holds, and part of why families have trusted us across generations.
